How does Britcar protect customer information?
Providing you a secure online experience is one of Britcar's highest priorities. We recognise that your privacy and security are of the utmost importance and have devoted a great deal of effort to ensure that your personal information is safeguarded.
When completing the online checkout, your payment data will be used only by secure online payment providers (Worldpay or Paypal). We cannot see or interact with the card details used on any particular order. Card payment history is stored with the payment gateway providers and is not linked to, or accessible from, the Britcar (UK) Ltd website.
Furthermore, as required by the UK Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998, and now the GDPR, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. Will Britcar disclose the information it collects to outside parties?
No. Britcar does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. Britcar may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns and related site information to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information.
