Earlier this year, we offered all those currently or formerly in the Armed Forces a discount. However, now we want to extend that offer to all those eligible for a Blue Light card. We value and commend all those who serve our country and want to give back in a time of need. Thank you for all you do and thank you for your service. 

To receive a discount, please e-mail [email protected] with proof of your service – ideally your Blue Light or Defence Service Discount Card. You will then be placed onto ‘Club’ discount level – this discount ranges depending on the product but typically amounts to around 10%. Unfortunately, it does not include genuine products though as frankly, we do not make enough money on these products to begin with!

As some of you may know, Duncan and Sandy Mansfield founded Britcar Global after they fell in love with Land Rovers while serving in the British Army Royal Corps of Transport. As such, to celebrate the upcoming Armed Forces Day, and show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community – from current serving troops to veterans, we are announcing a new discount for any serving/ former Armed Forces personnel.

You will then be placed onto ‘Club’ discount level – this discount ranges depending on the product but typically amounts to around 10%. Unfortunately, it does not include genuine products though as frankly, we do not make enough money on these products to begin with!

Last Friday, Lee Scott returned Sandy’s 3.8L S-type Jaguar. It has been in his body shop for the last few years and during this time, he stripped it down to a bare shell and meticulously repaired each and every panel, with plenty of new metal going in! He then primed the shell, painted and undersealed it, and got the door’s boot and bonnet lined up perfectly.

We now have it back and placed into storage for a short while whilst all of the ancillaries are restored. Dick Rew has kindly offered to restore the engine, and Duncan and a few of the lads will restore the axles while all chrome work will be sent off for re-chroming. In the meantime, Scott will start on the remaining parts!
